This advanced main battle tank first appeared in Russia during the annual Victory Parade in Moscow, and was intended to replace the T-90. It is equipped with a fully automated turret and is also equipped with state-of-the-art sensors and countermeasures.

T-26 Light Infantry Tank

As featured on the “Age of Darkness” mod for Rise of Nations!

The T-26 was the most widely produced Soviet tank of the Interbellum Era, and were most notable for their use in Finland, East Asia, and particularly Spain during the Civil War. Although cheap and fairly effective when it first appeared in 1931, it was slow, poorly armoured and highly vulnerable to anti-tank guns and the more powerful high-calibre guns of later tanks during the Second World War.

Trooper with Sword

As featured on the “Age of Darkness” mod for Rise of Nations!

Nothing can be more gentlemanly and more elegant than anything else in warfare than the trooper mounted upon his horse, for man has known the ways of the horse far longer than the destructive ways of the tank or aeroplane. Armed with his trusty steed and a blue steel sabre, the cavalryman awaits, biding his time, until the moment has come to draw up a line, charge and leap out of the mundane moments of waking life – and into the pages of fable and history.

The models below are based off a design and equipment set which was very common to American forces as well as most Western colonial powers at the close of the 19th century. Feel free to download them and use them in your projects as you wish.

Panhard AMD-178

Panhard AMD-178

As featured on the “Age of Darkness” mod for Rise of Nations!

Affectionately referred to as “Panpan” by French crews, the Panhard AMD-178 was a French-produced armoured car that appeared shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War, and was used by the French as well as countless other uses, most notably the early Republic of Vietnam.

Much later towards the end of the Second World War, the AMD-178 was upgraded to the “FL1” version, encompassing better armour, and a heavier turret equipped with a large-calibre gun. It was this version that was used by in Indochina by both French and Vietnamese forces alike at the onset of the Cold War.

The Bismarck-class battleships (consisting of the Bismarck and the Tirpitz) were a class of super-heavy battleship constructed by Nazi Germany prior to the Second World War, and were the largest class of post-dreadnought battleship to be constructed in the Western hemisphere, dwarfing even anything that the formidable Royal Navy could muster at that time.
